Frankie Perales has a Bachelors in Ethnic Studies with an Emphasis in Chicano Studies from California State University at Fullerton. He was awarded a Masters in Education in Education Specialization in US Global Context (Multicultural) from National University at San Diego. His passion has always been working with our youth and the community, He has been a High School Educator since 2007 and most currently was the Alternative Suspension Teacher at Hare Continuation High School in Garden Grove Unified School District. He continues to work part time with Garden Grove Unified as a walk-on head volleyball coach for both the girls and boys volleyball programs at Garden Grove High School. Frankie was awarded the Garden Grove Unified School District Coaches of Character Award in 2018 and CIF SS Coach of the Year in 2014 and 2018. He is the father of a five year-old daughter.
